Readers/Verifiers

DNA Technologies deploys a wide variety of readers and verifiers, designed to aid ‘in the field’ detection.

Field scanners are small portable devices, for recording both the response profile of each authentic secure mark and any encoded data the mark may contain.  Lightweight and compact, handheld scanners can be carried unobtrusively into a retail location and used to check items on the shelves for DNA Matrix™ marks. The scanner emits a flash of narrow-frequency light, then records the response. If there is no response, or if that response doesn’t match the profile of your product’s marks, it’s probable that a counterfeit has been discovered. This can be indicated immediately on the handheld scanner.

Our proprietary technology includes the scanners that interrogate and validate security marks and also capture any data encoded in the marks.
